About Me: Team Members

For as long as I can remember, I have been fascinated by stories, whether they be told through movies, books, or video games. Storytelling is the pillar that joins society together. It not only serves as entertainment, but also has the potential to teach valuable life lessons and ideals that can be carried over into the real world. From the beginning of time, mankind has utilized storytelling to inspire those around them to face obstacles head on, just like the heroes in our favorite stories, thus bridging the gap between fantasy and reality. Ever since elementary school, I knew that I wanted to add my own stories to the collection of stories that continue to inspire.

I started at the University of Florida in Electrical Engineering. I enjoyed the problem solving that came with engineering, but I did not find the same passion that I had found telling stories so I decided to switch to Computer Science Engineering.  I found that coding fostered creativity but still focused on problem solving, which is the facet that attracted me to engineering in the first place. While I completed my engineering degree, I worked on a minor in Digital Arts where I used my coding skills on 2D games. Finally I was marrying my love for storytelling with my coding expertise. I am now working on Master in Art in Digital Arts and Sciences and specializing in the development of Virtual and Augmented Reality applications.

To date, I have enjoyed developing virtual reality, 2D, and 3D games using Unity, creating 3D model and texture, and working on a project as the project manager.  I would love to work towards professionally becoming a video game developer where I can combine my extended reality (XR), modeling, and programming skills with my passion for storytelling. Because of my passion for storytelling, I want to continue to pursue the creation of stories that push the boundaries of innovation and teach valuable lessons that will influence the next generation of creative minds.
